Kansas state flag

Kansas state flags was first adopted in 1927. The Kansas state flag features the state seal, the state’s name and a sunflower. The flag was first used in 1927 at Fort Riley for the troops and Kansas National Guard. The 34 stars in the seal represents the order of Kansas state that was admitted to the union as the 34th state.
