New Hampshire State flag

The state flag was adopted in 1909 and was modified in 1931. New Hampshire, similar to so many other states, is designed  by placing the state seal on a blue background. The state seal is surrounded by laurel leaves and nine stars. New Hampshire was the 9th. State to join the Union. The seal is made of the frigate Raleigh. It is  one of the original 13 warships in the American navy that was built by the boat yards in New Hampshire.
