Wisconsin state flag

Wisconsin state flag was adopted in 1981. The Wisconsin state flag was first used in 1866 by the military regiments in Wisconsin. In 1979, the flag was changed and  “WISCONSIN” and “1848” was added to the design already included the state coat of arms in order to distinguish it from other state flags with a blue background.
