Quebec Flag

Quebec was  always a hotbed of nationalistic sentiment.  Quebec became the first province in Canada to design  it’s own distinctive  flag  in 1948. Like the Maple Leaf flag, it doesn’t have any  distictive or specific symbolism. But it is made from the Fleur-de-lis and a cross to remind  memories of the medieval flags of  royal France.
