Omaha city flag

The Omaha city flag was designed  in 1958 after the Omaha Girl Scouts decided  to have their own design.  John Rosenblatt, the mayor of the city agreed with them and asked them to find a suitable flag design. The All-American City banquet was due in six weeks so they had to come up withy a good design to be used during the banquet. Today’s flag design is the result of that efforts.
