Croatia Flag is a tricolor flag with horizontal bands of red, white, and blue colors. The coat of arms of Croatia, which consists of one main shield and five smaller shields, is positioned in the center of the flag. The red and white squares on the coat of arms represent Croatia, while the blue shield represents the Kingdom of Slavonia. The two crowned chequy shields at the top represent Croatia and Dalmatia, while the golden six-pointed stars on a red background represent the historic regions of Croatia. This flag was officially adopted on December 21, 1990, after the country gained independence from Yugoslavia. The Croatia Flag is a symbol of Croatian national pride and identity, and is widely recognized and respected around the world.
