(1 customer review)

El Salvador Flag is a horizontal tricolor with a blue stripe on the top, a white stripe in the middle, and a blue stripe on the bottom. In the center of the white stripe, the national coat of arms of El Salvador is placed. The coat of arms consists of a triangle with five volcanoes rising from the sea, representing the five Central American countries. Above the triangle, there is a red and blue Phrygian cap, a traditional symbol of freedom, and below it, there is a ribbon with the national motto “Dios, Unión, Libertad” (“God, Union, Liberty”). The blue stripe represents the Pacific Ocean and the sky, the white stripe represents peace and unity. El Salvador’s flag was adopted on May 17, 1912.
