Lithuania Flag

(1 customer review)

The Lithuania Flag features three horizontal stripes: yellow on top, green in the middle, and red on the bottom. The yellow stripe represents the sun, light, and prosperity; the green stripe represents the country’s forests, fields, and nature; and the red stripe represents the blood spilled by Lithuanians defending their country. The flag’s design is based on the coat of arms of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, which dates back to the 14th century. The current design was officially adopted in 1989, during Lithuania’s struggle for independence from the Soviet Union. The flag of Lithuania is a symbol of the country’s history, culture, and national identity, and is cherished by the Lithuanian people as a symbol of their freedom and independence.
