The Portland City Flag consists of a white four-pointed star in the middle emitting blue stripes and a green field with yellow elements, each in the form of an L. Narrow white portions separate the blue and yellow portions from each other and from the green background. Green in the design means “forests and green Our City”, yellow for “agriculture and commerce” and blue for our “rivers”.
