Slovenia Flag

(1 customer review)

The Slovenia Flag is a horizontal tricolor of white, blue, and red, with the Slovenian coat of arms on the left-hand side of the flag. The three colors represent the sky, mountains, and land of Slovenia, as well as the country’s history and culture. The coat of arms features the image of Mount Triglav, the highest peak in Slovenia, and three six-pointed stars above it, representing the country’s coat of arms from the medieval era. The wavy lines at the base of the coat of arms symbolize the Adriatic Sea and local rivers. The flag was officially adopted in 1991, shortly before Slovenia gained independence from Yugoslavia.
